My name is Carlos Alayeto. I’m a Miami-based Actor, Voiceover Talent, and Teaching Artist.
Since 2002, I’ve been a professional actor based in the Miami area, primarily focused on stage work. I’ve been fortunate to work in some of the most respected regional theatres, and have years of experience in touring productions in educational settings. Additionally, I have spent over a decade as a performer in voiceover and dubbing work and can offer broadcast quality voiceover on a remote basis. I’m enamored with language, dialects, literature, and the nature of theatre to be a force for emotional connection, catharsis, and illumination. I’ve spent over a decade as a teaching artist, using the tools of of my craft to help young people find their voices and better face the academic and professional challenges they are sure to face in rapidly changing world. Breathing life into characters from page to performance brings me joy, and a joyful artist is an effective artist.
I believe that no good decision ever came from fear. This is the philosophy that drives my approach to performance, teaching, and life. Strong, decisive choices based on diligent study and preparation are the hallmarks of my work. It is my desire to collaborate with producers, directors, and fellow performers that challenge me to tap into my creative energies, improvisational abilities, and methodical thought process to create art from time well spent.
Thank you for your time,
CA
